1968 was the first year that the Super Sport model option was available on an El Camino. The overall dimensions of the bed were changed and would remain this way until 1972. Once we list an item for sale in an auction format, the item will sell to the highest bidder. The 1968 Chevrolet El Camino was entirely restyled and featured more of a fastback design. This is part of long time collection of several other Mint/Carded Hot Wheels we have offered at this time. It has been archived all those years in a stable environment. Looking for a 1968 purple Chevrolet El Camino for sale within 50 miles of Pell City, AL Use our search to find it. The car is tight inside and has rubbed the top of the roof and the inside of the bubble.
The bubble is in good condition with flat sides but is a bit smooshed at the top and sides (see photos), there is cardboard inside the bubble under the car. The Card has some bends, edge ware, shelf ware and light scratches from storage and the passage of time. It appears to be in excellent condition sealed behind the plastic bubble. This toy has remained in excellent condition and has never been opened. Here we have “Custom Fleetside.” This Toy was Purchased long ago and has been stored in a box ever since.
